Day 1

Depart the US for Munich, Germany.

Day 2

Program Director, Phil Johnson, will meet you at the Munich airport. After collecting your bags we will go directly to Dachau Concentration Camp on the way into Munich. This concentration camp was the model for all concentration camps in Nazi Germany throughout WW2. Then it’s a short drive to downtown Munich where we will visit famous sites including the Hofbrau Haus, Marienplatz, and the Viktualienmarkt. In the evening we will travel south to Garmisch, where we will be staying.

Day 3

This morning you will wake up in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Garmisch is a beautiful Alpine village nestled in the middle of the German Alps. It is here that we will focus on our leadership training material while enjoying the unique aspects of our temporary home. This afternoon you’ll visit the Zugspitze mountain – the hightest peak in the German Alps – and ride the steepest cable car in Europe to the top! You can then opt for skiing, sledding or snowboarding for the afternoon.

Day 4

Today we’ll tackle an absolutely gorgeous hike to the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle. This castle, which was the model for the castle at Disney World, was the home of Mad King Ludwig. We’ll hear stories of his life and tour the castle. After lunch, we’ll head back to our bus and on to the Czech Repulic

Day 5

Our day will begin with a continuation of our leadership studies. Then it will be time to hit the Old City of Prague, truly one of the most magical cities in Europe. We will visit the old town square where you will view the Astronomical Clock, (and can climb the tower!) and the Charles Bridge, commissioned by King Charles IV in 1357, the bridge spans 16 arches and lined with 30 amazing statues. Then we’ll enjoy shopping and soaking up the culture in the center of the city.

Day 6

After finishing our leadership training, we will head back into Prague to visit the beautiful Prague Castle. Roughly the size of seven football fields, the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. The complex includes St. Vitus Cathedral as well. Then it’s back to the Old Town Square to view the famous astronomical clock, conduct some interviews, and finishing up some shopping.

Day 7

After our amazing journey, it’s time to head home from Prague back to the US!
