Dr. Phil Johnson’s Bio

Dr. Phil Johnson is the founder and president of Global Next Research Group and Leadership Institute in the Dallas,Texas area. Phil possesses a BA in biblical studies, a masters degree in education and a Ph.D in international relations. Throughout his career, Phil has been an educator, school administrator and developer of educational programs. Since founding Global Next in 2008, he uses his expertise to train students and adults in the areas of leadership, geopolitics and cultural trends from a biblical perspective. 

As a full member of the International Federation of Journalists, Phil has traveled to war zones and revolutionary spots across the globe and has met with leaders, influencers and journalists in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq. His extensive travel in more than 50 countries along with his research, writing and first-person interviews brings a unique perspective to his work in developing a new generation of Christ-centered and biblically-minded leaders. He is the author of three books, “The Leadership Paradox,” “Jump Your Shadow,” and “Before it Gets Dark.”
